Evaluation: Economic Empowerment of Women Focus Area Phase IV
In late-2024, PSDI commissioned an independent evaluation of the Economic Empowerment of Women (EEOW) focus area under PSDI Phase IV.
The evaluation assessed the relevance of EEOW to national and regional priorities, the outcomes and sustainability of EEOW initiatives, the implementation approach, and identified key lessons and recommendations to strengthen future EEOW programming.
The evaluation found that the EEOW program displayed strong alignment with regional priorities, effective partnerships, and successful contributions to women’s economic empowerment.
PSDI is using the evaluation findings and recommendations to inform future EEOW programming and to strengthen delivery models.
